In 1995 Walt Larimore and Bill Peel began collaboration on The Saline Solution. Bill brought his writing skills and work on evangelism in the workplace to Walt's practical experience in his own doctor's office to create the now well-known continuing medical education course for the Christian Medical and Dental Associations. The ethical limitations and time constraints resident in a medical practice brought a discipline to the creation of the course that produced a highly dynamic and cutting edge approach to evangelism. Taking advantage of a new openness to faith in healthcare, The Saline Solution has been part of a spiritual revolution in the medical profession in America giving doctors who follow Jesus a way to purposefully and appropriately take their faith into their practice.

Today, The Saline Solution is a key part of medical evangelism around the world throuogh the work of Dr. Bob Snyder and International Health Services, the Saline Solution has been translated into eight different languages and spreading the gospel to areas unreachable through traditional paths of evangelism.

Christian medical organizations from 30 additional countries have asked for The Saline Solution course be translated into their languages.
